Emily Bogart is an Associate in Winstead’s Real Estate Finance Practice Group. Her practice centers on financial services, mortgage lending, and real estate transactions, including commercial mortgage lending as well as residential and commercial warehouse lending. Emily advises banks, finance companies, and other lending institutions in the origination of various loans and financings across the United States.
Emily represents CMBS and other fixed-income lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions ranging in size from $2 million to $100 million. These transactions are secured by office, industrial, retail, hospitality, and multifamily properties. She is experienced in handling loans with complex financing issues, including ground leases, tenants-in-common arrangements, multi-borrower and multi-state portfolio structures, and acquisition facilities.
Emily advises warehouse lenders on the origination and ongoing management of residential, commercial, and agency multifamily mortgage loan warehousing facilities. She works with various structures, including traditional revolving loan facilities, repurchase and securities contracts, and loan participation purchase structures.

- Origination of loans for acquisitions and refinancings of properties, typically ranging from $10,000,000-$35,000,000. Recent transactions include:
- Industrial properties located in states including Maryland, South Carolina and Texas;
- Hotels located in states including California, Colorado and New York;
- Multifamily properties located in states including New Jersey, North Carolina and Pennsylvania;
- Storage properties located in states including Alaska, Michigan and Virginia; and
- Mobile home portfolios located in states including Arizona, Georgia and Florida.
- Advising lenders in connection with acquisition facilities ranging from $200,000,000-$300,000,000.
- Negotiation of master repurchase agreements and loan participation agreements ranging from $5,000,000 to $250,000,000.
