Jessica Straley is a member of Winstead's Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group. She has experience representing investment funds and other corporate clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including single property and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, real estate financings/re-financings, and sales of distressed debt.  Jessica has also advised numerous clients on the real estate aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions.

  • Acquisitions and Dispositions: Represents developers, various equity sources and joint ventures in the acquisition and disposition of single and multi-property portfolios of commercial real estate in all stages of development, including multifamily, student housing, industrial, retail and office
  • Joint Venture Investments: Represents developers and various equity sources in the structuring, negotiation and administration of joint ventures for all stages of the life cycle of a real estate investment
  • Development: Represents developers and investors in all stages of the development and construction of multifamily projects, student housing developments and industrial facilities, including industrial build-to-suit and speculative projects
  • Financings: Represents a wide variety of borrowers in connection with permanent and construction loans

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
