Profile

Stan Moore is chair of Winstead's Intellectual Property Practice Group. His primary practice area is patent and trademark law. He also specializes in domestic and international patent preparation, prosecution and licensing in mechanical, telecommunications, electro-mechanical and computer technologies. Stan is experienced in the procurement and protection of technology assets, including representation of inventors and companies in areas of research development and IP management. He also represents manufacturers in the establishment and management of U.S. and European patent, trademark, and trade secret licensing and protection programs.

In addition to analyzing intellectual property issues and representing both publicly and privately held corporations, Stan regularly performs due diligence studies of intellectual property assets. His experience in this area includes assisting technology-based companies and underwriters of initial public offerings for the high technology industry. He also provides counsel to individuals and businesses in patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright and unfair competition litigations in both federal and state courts.
