Sam Udovich is a member of Winstead's Intellectual Property Practice Group. He represents innovators and technology developers ranging from established corporations and universities to entrepreneurial startups. His practice focuses on domestic and international patent prosecution in a wide spectrum of mechanical and electrical technologies. Sam works extensively with clients to protect various intellectual property assets. He has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in a number of subject matter areas including robotics, medical devices, petrochemical refining systems and processes, mining, telecommunications, computer systems and networks, and manufacturing systems.
In addition to patent prosecution, Sam also takes part in due diligence studies of intellectual property assets including patent infringement and validity analysis. He also has experience preparing intellectual-property agreements.
Before joining Winstead, Sam worked as a manufacturing engineer.
