Brittany K. Barnett is an award-winning attorney and entrepreneur focused on social impact investing. She is dedicated to transforming the criminal justice system and has won freedom for numerous clients serving life sentences for federal drug offenses—seven of whom received executive clemency from President Barack Obama. Brittany is a former Winstead attorney who left private practice to establish several social enterprises, including XVI Capital Partners, Milena Reign LLC, the Buried Alive Project, and Girls Embracing Mothers.

Tanya Eiserer is a reporter at WFAA in Texas, specializing in investigative journalism. A five-time Emmy-award winner, Tanya is widely recognized for her coverage reporting on the Dallas police officer, Amber Guyger, who shot Botham Jean in his own home because she thought it was hers.

To help increase awareness of and support for Girls Embracing Mothers and the Buried Alive Project, Winstead is making a donation in honor of our clients and friends who attend this virtual event.

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
