Angel has significant experience representing both lender and borrowers on acquisition financings, reserve-based financings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, public and private debt offerings, cash-flow and asset-based lending, liability management transactions and restructurings.
Angel is known for his hands-on approach and leadership in structuring and executing complex financing transactions. His experience also includes advising clients on debt compliance, working capital arrangements, and general corporate governance matters. He has developed a strong track record of guiding clients through sophisticated financing structures across a variety of industries, including energy, health care, manufacturing, logistics, and retail.

- Advised a leading private equity sponsor in connection with a preferred equity investment in a portfolio company
- Represented a private credit lender in a series of transactions relating to the out-of-court restructuring and foreclosure proceedings of a national cannabis retail company
- Represented publicly traded data and analytics provider in connection with its $3.9 billion syndicated repricing
- Represented publicly traded companies in connection with recapitalization and liability management transactions
- Advised financial institutions, private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, and their portfolio companies on general corporate and financing transactions, including in-court and out-of-court restructurings, debtor-in-possession financings, and exit financings
- Negotiated the out-of-court restructuring in a cross-border recapitalization of an international logistics and railroad operator
