Grayson Thomas represents borrowers, lenders, developers, and investors in a broad range of commercial real estate and finance transactions. His practice includes property acquisitions and dispositions, construction and permanent financing, loan modifications and restructurings, and all aspects of transaction due diligence through closing.

Grayson advises clients throughout each stage of a transaction, including reviewing and negotiating title insurance policies, surveys, and zoning reports; drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, easements, and other closing deliverables; and coordinating other aspects of the closing process. He also counsels lenders and borrowers on modifying existing financing arrangements.  

Representative Experience

  • Represented a developer in the acquisition of commercial real estate and the closing of $35 million in construction financing.
  • Represented a lender in an $18 million multi-state construction loan secured by properties in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Represented a purchaser in an $80 million membership interest acquisition of a multifamily property.
  • Represented a bridge lender in negotiating multiple loan modifications secured by a portfolio of commercial real estate assets in Georgia.
  • Represented the seller in $5 million membership interest sale of an 1,800-acre agricultural property.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
