Scholarship Opportunities for High School Seniors in North Texas – Applications Due March 25

02.05.15

As a member of the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GDHCC), Winstead associate Elisabeth Wilson announced there are scholarship opportunities available for high school seniors.  The GDHCC is accepting applications from high school seniors from any public high school in certain North Texas counties for the Stars on the Rise Scholarship Program through noon on March 25, 2015.  In addition, the Ford Motor Company Fund and Texas Ford Dealers are also offering scholarships to high school seniors at participating schools in North Texas.

Recipients of the scholarship are honored at a Stars on the Rise Scholarship Reception, co-sponsored by GDHCC and The Dallas Foundation, which will be held this year on June 19, 2015.  Watch the highlights of the GDHCC’s 2014 Stars on the Rise Scholarship Reception.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance."

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
