Brent Clifton Receives Larry M. Katz Distinguished Service Award

05.06.16

Congratulations to Winstead shareholder Brent Clifton on his recent honor.  Brent received the Larry M. Katz Distinguished Service Award, given by the ABA Tax Section Partnerships and LLCs Committee.  This distinguished award was presented to Brent on May 6, 2016, in Washington, D.C.

The Larry Katz Award was created in 2000 in memory of Larry Katz. Mr. Katz had been a long-term member of the Committee and was an inspiration to many of the Committee's current members. The award is presented annually to a friend of the Committee who has given extraordinary service and made valuable contributions to the advancement of learning in the area of partnership tax.

Brent is past chair of the ABA Tax Section Partnerships and LLCs Committee and a member of the Committee on Government Submission.  He works in Winstead’s Tax Practice Group.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance."

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
