Winstead Attorneys Named Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year”

08.20.18

DALLAS – Aug. 20 2018 – Best Lawyers®, a peer-review publication in the legal profession, has named Winstead attorneys Arthur J. Anderson and Greta E. Cowart as Best Lawyers®- “Lawyer of the Year” for 2019 in their respective practice areas. Best Lawyers® designates “Lawyers of the Year” in high-profile legal specialties in large legal communities. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year.”

Anderson was recognized for his work in the Litigation – Real Estate category and has been recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in America® since 2006.

Cowart was recognized for her work in the Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law category and has been recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in America® since 2005.

Because Best Lawyers® is based on a peer-review survey in which more than 50,000 leading attorneys cast almost 4.3 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, inclusion in Best Lawyers® is considered a singular honor. Winstead attorneys have demonstrated a strong showing in Best Lawyers throughout the years, with 70 attorneys listed as Best Lawyers® for 2019.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance."

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
