Amy Deng represents banks, debt funds, and other financial institutions in structuring, negotiating, and closing a wide variety of commercial real estate finance transactions ranging in size from $30 million to $300 million. Amy’s experience includes construction, term, and bridge loans secured by assets such as office buildings, retail centers, multifamily developments, industrial projects, and hospitality properties. She also works with lenders on loan modifications, assumptions, and other servicing matters.

In addition to lending work, Amy advises on issues involving distressed or non-performing loans. She assists clients with workouts, restructurings, forbearance agreements, and enforcement strategies involving a wide range of property types. With a focus on practical solutions and clear communication, Amy helps her clients move transactions forward efficiently while protecting their business interests. 

Representative Experience

  • Represents institutional lenders in the origination, sale and participation of construction loans, bridge loans and mezzanine loans secured by real estate in all major asset classes and involving various issues including ground leases, tenant-in-common structures, and A/B Note and portfolio structures.

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
