Angela is a member of Winstead’s Finance & Lending Practice Group. She represents borrowers, lenders, and private equity sponsors in a broad range of financing transactions, including revolving credit facilities, term loans, first and second lien credit facilities, middle market and large cap financings, cross-border and domestic acquisition financings, asset-based financings, liability management transactions and debt restructuring matters. Her experience includes advising clients on debt compliance, general corporate governance matters, complex secured and unsecured lending arrangements, recapitalizations, and distressed debt transactions. 

Angela’s legal background also includes serving as a law clerk to Justice Jeffrey S. Boyd of the Texas Supreme Court.

  • Represented a portfolio company of a private equity firm in connection with its senior secured term loan and revolving credit facility
  • Represented a publicly traded cannabis company in the issuance of $243 million of senior secured notes due 2026, together with subordinate voting shares and warrants
  • Represented a software company backed by a private equity sponsor in its $25 million senior secured multi-draw term and revolving facility
  • Represented a global energy technology company in $1.3 billion amended and restated senior secured revolving and term facilities to refinance existing indebtedness
  • Represented a real estate investment trust in a $941 million offering of zero coupon senior secured notes due 2026
  • Represented a business process outsourcing company in its $105 million first and second lien facilities and $40 million asset-based revolving credit facility to finance operations following emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings
  • Represented a private credit fund, as administrative agent, in a senior secured term loan and revolving credit facility for a luxury hospitality company
  • Represented a publicly traded real estate investment trust in its $300 million 144A/Reg S offering of 9.000% senior secured notes due 2029
  • Represented the parent company of a business services provider in its $6 million senior secured debtor-in-possession facility to provide liquidity during Chapter 11 proceedings
  • Represented a manufacturing company owned by a private equity firm in its senior secured term loan and revolving credit facility
  • Represented a technology and education company in a $160 million incremental senior secured term facility to finance an acquisition
  • Represented a private equity firm and its portfolio company in a third lien term loan facility to finance growth capital expenditures
  • Represented a global payment services company in its $1.4 billion senior secured term loan facility, $450 million incremental term loan B facility, and issuance of $550 million in unsecured notes

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".
