Harrison Papaila is a member of Winstead’s Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group. He has experience representing developers and investors in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions and other business matters. 

His practice involves advising clients in the development, acquisition, and disposition of supply chain logistics facilities, retail shopping centers, multifamily projects, gas station portfolios, mixed-use developments, and data centers. Harrison represents both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of retail, office, industrial, and data center leases. Additionally, he represents borrowers in connection with acquisition and construction financing, refinancing, loan assumptions, and modifications.

After law school, Harrison served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant, III of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Representative Experience

  • Represented multinational technology company in the development of a $1.5 billion enterprise data center campus in West Texas
  • Represented investor partner in the development of a $165 million industrial park in Otay Mesa, California
  • Represented owner in a $215 million sale of a 110-acre mixed-use development in Gainesville, Virginia
  • Represented joint venture in the ground lease, development, leasing, and disposition of a $100 million supply chain logistics facility in Irving, Texas 
  • Represented investor member in acquisition of a $60 million shopping center in Wheaton, Illinois
  • Represented owner-operator of a national property management company in the relocation of its corporate headquarters in Richardson, Texas

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
