Jason “Jase” Burner advises clients through every stage of growth, investment, and strategic transformation. He represents public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors in complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

Jase brings experience across a broad range of deal structures, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, joint ventures, and reorganizations. He regularly works with companies in the technology, consumer products, healthcare, aerospace, and media sectors, helping them navigate both day-to-day corporate matters and high-stakes strategic initiatives.

His practice also includes representing early-stage companies, founders and investors in the formation, funding, and operational phases of emerging businesses. He offers practical guidance on capital raises, governance, and exit strategies—particularly within the technology and healthcare industries.

Deeply engaged in the Austin community, Jase maintains an active pro bono practice, supporting local artists and arts organizations as part of Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts. He also serves on the Alumni Board for St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
