Mike Hilliard's experience covers the full range of financial services, banking issues and credit transactions. His principal emphasis today is on complex lending transactions, workouts, leveraged leasing, credit products and project finance.

Representative Experience

  • Represents and counsels lenders, administrative agents, credit enhancers, note purchasers and lender groups in a broad range of secured and unsecured debt financings covering a myriad of industries, including acquisition finance, syndicated credits, highly leveraged transactions, mezzanine finance, oil and gas production loans, equipment and project finance, troubled loan restructurings, Ex-Im Bank guaranteed facilities, and complex intercreditor and subordination arrangements
  • Represents and counsels financial institutions in a broad range of business, corporate and regulatory matters, including asset sales, loan portfolio sales, auctions (open outcry and sealed bid) of owned real estate, product development and implementation, purchase and sale transactions and bids for failed institutions
  • Represents and counsels lenders, lessees, trustees and equity participants in leveraged lease and project finance transactions, including those relating to independent power projects, electric generation, manufacturing facilities, aircraft, heavy equipment, marine assets, microwave transmission equipment, rail equipment, oil and gas production equipment and underground storage facilities
  • Represents and counsels developers, buyers and sellers in project development and asset and stock transactions involving electric energy projects, oil and gas, and leveraged lease portfolios

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
