Houston, Texas, Jan. 21, 2015 — Winstead shareholder Brannon C. Dillard has been elected to membership in the prestigious Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation.  Fellows of the Foundation are selected for their outstanding professional achievements and their demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout the state of Texas.  Each year one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys are invited to become Fellows. Once nominees are selected, they must be elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees.

Dillard works in Winstead’s business litigation, energy law, and securities litigation and enforcement practice groups and insurance and energy industry groups.  He represents clients in a variety of civil litigation and arbitration matters in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels, and before arbitration tribunals.  Dillard focuses his practice on complex business litigation, first-party insurance coverage and bad-faith litigation, third-party insurance defense litigation, energy litigation, and securities litigation and arbitration.

Dillard received his J.D. from the Baylor University School of Law, where he served as a teaching and research assistant to Gerald Powell, the Abner V. McCall Professor of Evidence.  He was a member of the Order of Barristers and Harvey M. Richey Moot Court Society, and received multiple awards for his accomplishments in internal moot court competitions and the Practice Court Program’s mock trial competition.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance."

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
