Alex Amerine is a litigator representing employers and executives in complex employment and business disputes. Her practice includes defending clients in state and federal courts across a range of claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour issues, trade secret misappropriation, and breaches of contract, fiduciary duty, and restrictive covenants.

Alex also represents employers before the EEOC and state administrative agencies, managing all aspects of investigations and responses. She regularly drafts and argues dispositive motions, manages discovery strategy, and handles depositions and hearings in high-stakes litigation. 

Beyond her litigation practice, Alex counsels employers on preventative measures and day-to-day compliance. She advises on onboarding materials, employment agreements, handbooks, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour matters under the FLSA.

  • Prepare and advise employers on employment contracts, employee handbooks, and other personnel policies and procedures.
  • Handle mediations and settlement negotiations in wide range of matters, including general business disputes and employment litigation.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
