Khalid is a commercial transactions attorney who advises airline clients on the most cost-efficient approach to achieve their desired outcome. Khalid’s specific areas of focus include enterprise technology (e.g. software license and SaaS agreements, data privacy compliance and cybersecurity matters), fuel acquisition and delivery, and human resources recruitment.

Khalid has prior experience advising clients on all aspects of commercial real estate, including negotiating and structuring commercial transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, and related transactions, joint ventures, land development, commercial leasing and all related corporate matters. Khalid is admitted to practice law in Texas and Ontario, Canada.

  • Representation of major U.S. airline in the negotiation of SaaS and licensing agreements with service providers including Honeywell, B2BE, F5, and Data Theorem.
  • Representation of major U.S. airline in the negotiation of data processing terms with service providers including Brock Solutions and Dassault.

Commercial Transactions & Outsourcing

  • Representation of global U.S. airlines in the drafting and negotiation of various fuel acquisition and delivery related agreements with leading service providers, including Swissport, Titan, Z Energy, AEG and Action.
  • Representation of U.S. airlines in their development of template agreements governing purchase of products, services, consulting services and software.
  • Representation of global U.S. airline in the development of its scholarship program for pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians.

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
