Luis Jasso is a member of Winstead’s Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group.
His practice encompasses various aspects of real estate transactions and development, including the representation of condominium developers in the creation of residential and mixed-use projects and the conversion of existing properties. Luis also advises property owners and condominium associations on governance and administrative matters. In the realm of land development, he supports property developers in structuring and documenting mixed-use projects and facilitates the acquisition, disposition, and development of both improved and unimproved land.
Luis also represents owners and contractors in a variety of construction-related matters, including disputes involving construction defects, delay claims, mechanic’s liens, payment disputes, payment bond claims, and surety issues. Additionally, Luis represents owners and contractors in drafting and negotiating various construction contracts.
Furthermore, Luis works with major domestic and international airlines on the purchase, sale, and lease of domestic and cross-border aircraft and aviation assets, as well as the outsourcing of contracted services.
