Maddie Royal is a litigation associate with experience handling complex civil disputes through every phase of litigation. Her practice includes managing dispositive motion practice, coordinating written discovery, preparing and defending depositions, and assisting with trial strategy and courtroom proceedings. 

Maddie regularly drafts and argues summary judgment motions and contested discovery motions in state and federal courts. She also takes and defends depositions, prepares senior attorneys and witnesses for hearings and examination, and is involved with other critical stages of litigation.

Representative Experience

  • Represented a homeowner’s association in various contract disputes, real property issues, and restrictive covenant issues by various landowners; additionally assisted the homeowner’s association with various corporate and general governance issues. 
  • Represented a landowner in various contract disputes and liability claims, getting all claims against him and his property dismissed.
  • Handled mediations and settlement negotiations in wide range of matters, including healthcare litigation.
  • Assisted churches and non-profits with internal investigations and litigation avoidance strategies.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
