Sarah Hadd is a member of Winstead’s Construction Practice Group. She represents owner and developer clients in the drafting and negotiation of consulting, design, and construction contracts for a variety of industries, including industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and multi-family. Sarah also assists owner and developer clients throughout the course of their project and helps to resolve issues related to change orders, delays/liquidated damages, mechanic’s liens, and defective work.

  • Represents real estate investment and development firm in drafting and negotiating consulting, design and construction contracts for industrial projects. 
  • Represents real estate investment, operating, and development company in drafting and negotiating consulting, design and construction contracts for hotel renovation projects.
  • Represents financial services company in drafting and negotiating design and construction contracts for the construction and build-out of various banking locations.
  • Represents large pediatric hospital system in the drafting and negotiating of design and construction contracts for the ongoing expansion/modernization of existing and new medical center campus facilities. 
  • Provides ongoing advice to numerous clients concerning issues arising on active construction projects including:
    • Analyzing project documentation related to change orders;
    • Analyzing clients’ rights with regard to project delays and construction defects under the applicable contract; 
    • Drafting letters asserting clients’ contractual rights; and
    • Researching novel issues of law. 
    • Assists various owner and developer clients in resolving lien claims. 

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
