Seth Steinke is a member of Winstead’s Business Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on commercial litigation matters involving complex business disputes in state courts. Seth assists clients through all stages of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appellate briefing.

Seth has experience conducting legal research and analyzing complex commercial issues, with a focus on developing practical recommendations and litigation strategies. He has handled a broad range of discovery responsibilities, including drafting discovery requests and responses, reviewing and managing document productions, preparing deficiency correspondence, developing deposition outlines and taking depositions. He also has substantial experience drafting pleadings and motions of all types, and has handled a variety of court hearings, including summary judgment hearings.

  • Representation of nation’s largest hotel management company in fee disputes across multiple jurisdictions
  • Representation of real estate lenders resulting in dismissal of $28M dollar fraud and breach of contract claims
  • Representation of borrowers and individual guarantors in defense of breach of contract and breach of guaranty claims
  • Representation of promotors of real estate syndication deal involving claims of securities fraud
  • Representation of manager of real estate investment company in arbitration involving claims of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty 

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
