Fort Worth Inc Magazine Names Winstead Shareholder Andrew Rosell to its list of 400 Most Influential People

FORT WORTH, TX, May 19, 2022 – Winstead PC, a leading national law firm, today announced that Andrew Rosell, a Shareholder and Chair of the firm’s Investment Management & Private Funds Industry Group has been named to Fort Worth Inc. magazine’s 2022 list of The 400: Fort Worth’s Most Influential People.

The annual list recognizes the most influential business leaders in Fort Worth and Tarrant County.

“Andrew is an outstanding attorney and an active member of the Fort Worth, Dallas and North Texas business and legal communities.  He personifies one of Winstead’s core tenets of giving back to the communities in which we live and work,” said David Dawson, Chairman & CEO of Winstead.

“He has been actively involved in the development of the National Juneteenth Museum which is to be built in Fort Worth.  In addition, he is a member of the board of trustees for Cook Children’s Medical Foundation where he serves on the Audit Committee and the board of directors for Cook Children’s Medical System and Cook Children’s Health Plan,” added Mr. Dawson.

Andrew has a diverse corporate and securities practice representing private investment fund managers, wealth managers, mutual fund managers, family offices and public and private companies engaged in strategic transactions.  He primarily focuses on representing registered investment advisers in all aspects of their business, including:  formation and structuring, regulatory compliance, strategic financial arrangements, strategic mergers and acquisitions, investment portfolio transactions, due diligence, fund formation and liquidation and business cessation.

Andrew also has significant industry experience beyond investment management.  He regularly represents and works with companies in the oil & gas, insurance and healthcare industries.  In this capacity, he often acts as outside general counsel addressing corporate governance, employment and contract negotiations, as well as negotiating merger and acquisition transactions.
