Winstead Promotes Eight Attorneys to Of Counsel

Dallas (January 15, 2026) - Winstead PC is pleased to announce the promotion of eight associates to Of Counsel, effective January 1, 2026. The newly promoted attorneys are Larry Banda, Allix Beleck, Michael Duran, Ginger Epstein, Roxanne Hajikhani, Khalid Karim, Alden Paras, and Travis Renna. 

These eight attorneys have cultivated strong practices at the core of the firm, including commercial transactions, real estate development and investment, aviation, and wealth preservation. They have demonstrated leadership within the firm as well as their communities, and several have been recognized with awards such as D Magazine’s "Best Lawyers in Dallas Under 40" and "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch."

Larry Banda is a member of Winstead’s Corporate, Commercial Transactions & Outsourcing Practice Group. His practice focuses on transactional matters, including counseling public and private companies through each phase of the commercial contracting and outsourcing lifecycle. He regularly works with major domestic and international airlines on the purchase, sale, and lease of domestic and cross-border aircraft and aviation assets, as well as the outsourcing of contracted services.

Allix Beleck is a member of Winstead’s Corporate, Securities/M&A Practice Group. Allix focuses her practice primarily on corporate transactions for private and public company clients across a variety of industries, including technology, life sciences, energy, communications, and consumer. Allix also advises clients on general corporate and governance matters. 

Michael Duran is a member of Winstead’s Wealth Preservation Practice Group and is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His practice centers on estate planning and estate and trust administration for high-net-worth individuals and families, focusing on the preparation of trusts and other estate planning techniques, lifetime transfers of assets, analysis of tax issues, and uncontested and contested matters involving fiduciaries.

Ginger Epstein is a member of Winstead’s Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group. Ginger represents developers, landlords, tenants, borrowers, landowners, financial institutions, and servicers on commercial real estate and lending matters, with a particular emphasis on acquisitions and dispositions, loan originations, and servicing transactions. Her practice also includes defeasance, foreclosure, development loan transactions, and leasing.

Roxanne Hajikhani is a member of Winstead’s Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group. Roxanne advises and represents clients in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, development, financing, office and retail leasing, and ancillary real estate issues. Roxanne’s practice focuses largely on healthcare real estate projects and hospitality projects, though she also handles and has significant experience with multifamily, industrial, and land-development matters.

Khalid Karim is a member of Winstead’s Corporate, Commercial Transactions & Outsourcing practice, advising airline clients. Khalid’s specific areas of focus include enterprise technology (e.g., software license and SaaS agreements, data privacy compliance, and cybersecurity matters), fuel acquisition and delivery, and human resources recruitment.

Alden Paras is a member of the Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group, representing institutional and private clients in the acquisition, disposition, and development of commercial real estate. Alden's practice focuses on representing investors and developers in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including the financing, acquisition, disposition, and development of both unimproved and improved real property. He also regularly represents private lenders in financing the acquisition, development, and construction of real estate projects, with an emphasis on construction loans and horizontal development.

Travis Renna is a member of Winstead’s Corporate, Commercial Transactions & Outsourcing practice, representing clients on aviation transactions, including aircraft interiors procurement, engine purchasing, leasing, and customer loyalty. His extensive maintenance experience includes negotiating agreements involving engines, airframe heavy maintenance, line and on-call maintenance, wheels and brakes, landing gear, and other aircraft components.

Searches are not case sensitive.
